"Having never done a construct or renovation, my husband and I were apprehensive, but we understood that we needed additional space in our retirement cottage. I found ‘Dan Morley Construction’ advertised on a property sign and called. After reading on-line reviews, I knew we were in good hands.
Our lake side room addition is exquisite with every detail cared for, every concern addressed. We have massive windows facing the lake, a vaulted pine ceiling and a new front porch. The original cottage has a new roof and new siding with enhanced windows and added insulation all around. Alicia, the company’s architectural designer, picked out colours which give a stunning overall effect. "We first became aware of Dan and his crew when they were constructing a large two story addition to our neighbour’s house across the road.
I was amazed to watch the progress and good work on our neighbours house because we were also doing a large renovation at the time but using a locally renown contractor who, quite honestly, presented us with more frustration then we needed and with too many disappointments over the term of the job.
A few years later we were ready to construct a two story two bay garage on the property. I asked our neighbour who he had do his reno back then – it was Dan and crew. I contacted Dan. He brought along a wonderful architect and we arrived at a final design. Drawings and building permits moved along flawlessly and the structure was quickly completed to our full satisfaction.
We sold that property and moved into a 25 year old home that needed some major updating and TLC. We didn’t hesitate to contact Dan. Together with the same architect we agreed to a design to construct a full Family room addition and a 30 X 10 covered porch to the house. Lots of work, but again, a job well done.
I have recommended Dan and Co. to two friends who have carried through and used his skills. Both of those folks are very happy with their experience.
The biggest thing we learned about Dan and the guys is that they always looked out for our interest and to be honest they are the only Crew we will use for any future work.

"We engaged Dan Morley Construction to add insulation to our 8 year old 2 story home on the shores of lake Huron. The job involved removing siding on the north and west facing exterior walls and adding 2" foam board to the existing Fiberglas batt insulation. The rim joists on the north wall were sprayed with foam insulation in the finished basement.
Alicia provided a detailed estimate of the cost and duration of the project. The work was done by two very pleasant and industrious workmen. The work was efficient, and the quality was excellent. The project was completed as promised and the end result not only met but exceeded our expectations. The work site was kept clean and the project was completed within the predicted time and budget. Alicia provided excellent communication keeping us informed of the progress on a regular basis.
We would not hesitate to engage Dan Morley construction for any future renovation project. It was a pleasure experiencing a successful project such as this was."
